Wildlife Treatment

100_0683.jpgWe will care for injured and orphaned wildlife at our Saint Petersburg, FL veterinary hospital and will try to place them with a qualified rehabilitator.  Before handling a suspected injured or orphaned wild animal, please call us for advice first.  Many apparently orphaned wild animals actually have parents nearby.  Handling these young animals can actually cause the parents to abandon them.  Wild animals carry diseases and can bite, so for your safety, please call us for help.

If you are bitten by a wild animal, contact Pinellas County Animal Services immediately at 727-582-6802 and seek immediate medical treatment. squirrel3.jpg

Save our Seabirds is a rehabilitation center for injured seabirds that we work with on a regular basis.
